Nashuva’s Thanksgiving Celebration with the Hope Street Family Center will be delivered this year!
This year we will be supporting 200 families through donations and gifts – Join Us!
A Virtual Thanksgiving
In the interest of safety, this year Nashuva will be delivering groceries/gift bags in lieu of our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon at the Hope Street Center.
Nashuva will provide 200 Thanksgiving gift bags that can be distributed to the Hope Street families. Please note that this is TWICE as many families as previous years! This year has been particularly difficult for the working poor and food insecure families. Let’s help our Hope Street Center brothers and sisters like we never have before!
And, it’s super easy to get involved!

How you can help:
- Sponsor a Family: For double Chai ($36) – this will provide a large bag of groceries & household essentials to a Hope Street Center family. We will do the shopping.
- Buy Turkeys: ($108) – this will provide turkeys to some Hope Street Center families.
- Any Amount Helps! ($ your choice)
2. Volunteer
Join Nashuva Social Action on November 14th from 10a to 12p, as we assemble the
grocery bags for the families. We will meet at Clover Park in Santa Monica
at the picnic tables to assemble the bags for the families.
Additional volunteers will transport the assembled bags to Hope Street so that they can distribute the bags to the families.

3. Sign up to purchase household items
