B’nai Mitzvah

There is no greater joy than watching the children in our community become Bar and Bat Mitzvah. The B’nai Mitzvah* experience is an important milestone in cultivating a love of Judaism – it is an opportunity for our young people to embrace our tradition and carry on its values to the next generation.

Nashuva is beginning a Bar and Bat Mitzvah program for kids in middle school. It will include one-on-one private tutoring and group and family gatherings as well. If you have a child who’d like to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or if you have friends, neighbors and relatives with children who are interested, please email Rabbi Levy at [email protected]

Our program is called BE a Mitzvah!

We encourage young people to participate in all of our services and welcome those considering a Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremony to make Nashuva part of that experience. You can do so by sponsoring an Oneg Shabbat, making a donation in honor of a B’nai Mitzvah or receiving a blessing at one of our Shabbat services.
