Meet in Parking Lot at 8:45 am
Meditative Hike at 9:00 am
Prayer Gathering at 10:00 am
Please join us at our beloved Temescal Canyon Park as we come together to commemorate the anniversary of the heartbreaking terrorist attack on Israel. (PLEASE NOTE that we will NOT be in the same location as previous years so please follow Nashuva signs carefully!)
October 7th will have already begun in Israel as we begin to gather for our ceremony. We will be united in mourning, healing and hope.
We will meet at 8:45 am in the parking lot (nearest Sunset) for coffee, followed by a meaningful, prayerful, gentle meditative hike.
The prayer gathering begins at 10:00 am. We will gather together to recite Kaddish, pray for the safe return of the hostages, stand in solidarity with the people of Israel, and pray for a new year filled with peace.
(If you are unable to attend the hike, you can arrive at 9:45 am and join us for the memorial service.)
We’ll have a few blankets to sit on but not enough for everyone. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR OR BLANKET! (Arrangements have been made so that you will not have to hike carrying your chairs or blankets.)
It will be a morning of healing and of comfort, of remembrance and of hope.
Please register to let us know you will be joining us.
