The mystical meaning of the number 20 is “Divine” and “loving community” – and because of 20 years together at Nashuva we are both: reaching always for the Divine and a holy loving community.
Join us as we celebrate Nashuva’s Birthday! For 20 years we’ve been dreaming of this momentous night: Our 20th Year Birthday Celebration! Friday night June 7th at 6:30 PM – Come out and rejoice with us! Join us as we pray together, enjoy a delicious Shabbat dinner and dance!
What a memorable night it will be! Welcoming Shabbat, a night like no other, with Rabbi Levy and the whole Nashuva Band, all of us united, singing, praying, feasting, learning, rejoicing, meditating, dancing and giving thanks to God for 20 years of blessings and for all the blessed days ahead filled with hope – taking us higher!

Nashuva has always been there for us, in times of celebration and challenging times. The past twenty years have demonstrated the importance of our Nashuva family.
We’ve been mediating, praying with the Nashuva Band, singing, drumming, celebrating Passover, holidays and Shabbat, lifting each other up. We have been working together to heal our city and our world with acts of kindness. We have taken our prayers outdoors in meads and on the beach to feel connected to one another and to the presence of God. Temescal Canyon on Yom Kippur will always be a highlight we treasure forever. Together we are light and we spread light and healing.
Nashuva needs your generosity now more than ever. Nashuva has always embraced a different model – open to all, with no dues, tickets or building fund. We are proud that we’ve pioneered a way to bring more people into meaningful Jewish life, and our model depends on you to sustain us.
Twenty years ago, Nashuva was born out of a dream that Judaism could bring people together in prayer, song, learning and service. We have succeeded beyond our wildest dreams and you have played a crucial part in turning Nashuva’s dream into reality. In the twenty years since Nashuva was created, we have helped you and tens of thousands of others connect with a Jewish experience that is spiritually meaningful, relevant and full of light.
