November 18th: Nashuva’s 14th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon
at Hope Street- Downtown Los Angeles
Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 11:00am – 1:30pm
Please join us this year to celebrate Nashuva’s 14th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon with Pico-Union Family Preservation Center/Hope Street, which services low income families. Our joint celebration consists of a Thanksgiving luncheon, arts & crafts for the children and gift baskets filled with staples and other treats for the families – thanks to your help!
Hope Street Family Center is a community health, education and recreation resource of California Hospital Medical Center that seeks to educate children, strengthen families and transform the community. HSFC provides in-home and on-site educational, health wellness, behavioral health, developmental, and social services that support children and families. The families of Hope Street have come to look forward to our joint Thanksgiving celebration.
This year’s event will be a success with your help! Please let us know what you will be bringing.
We need food in large quantities for the banquet and lots of items for gift bags!
We ask all attendees to bring (new, unexpired and unopened) items to fill the 150 gift bags in addition to their donation to the buffet.
We will be providing a full Kosher Luncheon for around 350 people.
BANQUET FOOD (350 guests)
Homemade or purchased foods are OK. Our banquet is Kosher, so please no dairy or meat. Please bring foods in large quantities, in bowls ready to serve with serving utensils.

ARTS AND CRAFTS
We need to set up 5 booths – such as face painting, cookie decorating, picture frame making or the like. Please let us know if you are able to set up a booth. Contact us if you’d like more information.
GIFT BAGS (quantity 150)
Every year, we prepare beautiful gift bags for the families. These include food items, staples, toiletries and other goodies for the families. We ask all attendees to bring (new, unexpired and unopened) items to fill the 150 gift bags in addition to their donation to the buffet.
