Nashuva’s 17th Birthday Celebration

For 17 years, with our voices joined in prayer, Nashuva has been a source of comfort and strength to us in good times and in challenging times.

Nashuva is turning 17 on June 18th and for the first time in over a year (March 6 2020) we are gathering IN-PERSON outdoors with Rabbi Levy and the whole Nashuva Band to pray, to rejoice and to give thanks for new days of hope and healing! We will be following all Covid safety guidelines, masking, social distancing.

We are seeking sponsors to join our 17th Birthday Committee.

Nashuva needs your generosity now more than ever. Nashuva has always embraced a different model – open to all, with no dues, tickets or building fund. We are proud that we’ve pioneered a way to bring more people into meaningful Jewish life, and our model depends on you to sustain us.

This past year has demonstrated the importance of our Nashuva family now more than ever. We’ve been meditating, praying, singing and celebrating weekly, on Passover, and through the Holy Days – strengthening our resilience and lifting each other up. Together we have turned a time of fear into a time of healing and compassion.

Seventeen years ago Nashuva was born out of a dream that Judaism could bring people together in prayer, song, learning and service. We have succeeded beyond our wildest dreams – and you have played a crucial part in turning Nashuva’s dream into reality. In the 17 years since Nashuva was created, we have helped you – and tens of thousands of others – connect with a Jewish experience that is spiritually meaningful, relevant and full of light.

Your continued faith over the years has made it possible for us to thrive in these difficult times and to reach this momentous occasion.

Only those who register may attend and attendance is limited so please register as soon as possible!  You will receive location information after registration.

Your support makes it possible for Nashuva to offer our inspiring musical prayer services in person and online, our social action mitzvahs to those in need, and now, our weekly live webcast that reaches tens of thousands of unaffiliated Jews across the globe!

This year, our birthday celebration will take place on Shabbat June 11th in-person outdoors in a park in Santa Monica (we will also livestream this event).
Address for Live Service will be provided after Registration.
