About Nashuva

A Personal Welcome from Rabbi Naomi Levy

Experience joy. Feed your soul. Connect with friends. Be still. Find God.

Nashuva is a spiritual community and a soulful experience. It’s a place where we can leave behind our worries, receive spiritual infusion and emerge transformed.

I hope you’ll join me and the Nashuva Band, as the Nashuva community gathers for joyful, inspired Shabbat services the first Friday night of each month at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church.

There are no tickets, no membership. Our services are open to all.

We invite you to share this special time with us and be lifted by the beauty of our prayer, song and community.

At Nashuva, we believe that prayer can heal our souls and help us find personal peace. But it also leads us to action. It reminds us that we are here to heal this broken world.

So, in addition to praying together, we serve together throughout the year, to bring light, hope and love to those in need in greater Los Angeles.

Nashuva is the Hebrew word for “return.” Join us as we “return”… to our passion, our dreams, our essential goodness, our love, our souls and to God.

At a time when religious intolerance is tearing our world apart, we are grateful to Brentwood Presbyterian Church who has opened the doors of its church and its heart to us.

If you have friends who might be interested in Nashuva, please invite them to join us!

Wishing you blessings and joy,

Rabbi Naomi Levy and Nashuva
